Fai Vesvijak
Profile
After completing undergraduate study in Environment and information studies, Fai started out her career as a global technical consultant at a cloud security vendor in Tokyo. Back then, she got a chance to do some coding at work. She found herself enjoying software development more than doing consultation and decided to shift her career path and went on to pursue further education in software engineering at University of Sydney. After graduating, she joined Agoda as a software engineer and worked mainly in the backend area.
Growing up, Fai has always had a passion for design and used to aim to become an architect. So after two years of working fully only on the backend side, she wanted a chance to also work on the frontend side which will allow her to play with the UI/UX. So she decided to join CADDi as she saw the opportunities for her to explore other areas of development including the frontend area. Recently joined in September 2022, currently, she’s taking on a full-stack role in the production management team.
慶應義塾大学環境情報学部を卒業後、クラウドセキュリティベンダーのHENNGEでグローバルテクニカルコンサルタントとしてキャリアをスタート。その頃、コーディングをする機会があり、コンサルティングよりもコーディングの方が楽しいと感じ、キャリアパスを変更し、シドニー大学でコンピュータサイエンスを学ぶ。
卒業後、Agodaにソフトウェアエンジニアとして入社し、主にバックエンドの領域で働く。幼少期からデザインに興味があり、建築家を目指していた時期もあった。2年間バックエンドの仕事に専念した後、UI/UXを扱えるフロントエンドの仕事もしたいと考えるようになる。フロントエンド領域を含む他の開発領域を開拓するチャンスがあると考え、2022年9月にCADDi に入社し、フルスタックで社内ツールの開発を担当後、生産管理プロダクトチームにジョイン。
