Why you joined CADDi
I first learned about CADDi through a recruiting agent when I was looking for jobs in Japan.
It was a bit late in the journey and I had already gotten some offers from other companies, I was a bit skeptical in the beginning because I had no previous experience in the manufacturing industry.
After talking to the members and learning about the effect CADDi's success could have on Japan as a whole, due to the size and importance of manufacturing here, I decided to join.
What you have done/you are doing at CADDi
After joining CADDi I was involved in building a couple of PoC projects, after those projects were shut down in favor of more promising ones I joined the Workflow Engine team as one of the first founding members. This new project was a big challenge since it was a big context switch from my earlier experiences, but I'm glad I accepted the challenge as it led to growth.
Now I'm one of the people responsible for Drawer's ingestion pipeline.
What CADDi's Engineers are trying to innovate
Engineers at CADDi are always targeting the end goal of unleashing the potential of manufacturing. The industry is like a big fright ship, it's huge and takes a lot of effort to turn, but it's importance cannot be overstated.
How CADDi's Engineers drive Innovation
Our journey starts by laying a solid foundation of data on which the future can be built.
What are your hobbies and how do you spend your days off?
I recently became a father so I'm still adjusting to that and figuring out whether I still have any hobbies besides that (haha), but I occasionally still find the time to enjoy hiking, read books, or try my luck with the latest playstation games.
