Chinnapa Pattamada
- I'm orginally from India, but studied in Singapore and Japan before starting work at an HR Big Data company ( Goalist ) in Tokyo.
- I worked on various data aggregation and analysis projects there until I was asked to head a new subsidiary company (HumAIn) to create AI leveraged services for a global audience as the CEO.
- In 2022, I decided to transition to working in the sustainability industry in order to make a larger positive impact on the world. I worked as the CTO of Sustainable Lab, a leading data platform for corporate sustainability in Japan.
- I joined CADDi in April 2025 and am currently working as an Engineering Manager.
How I Joined
I was introduced to CADDi by an agent. Once I met the members and learnt about the company, I was impressed by (1) the focus on making impact on the manufacturing industry (2) the impression of the high level of capability of the engineers and other managers I spoke to during the interview process. These were by core reasons for deciding to join CADDi.
Work at CADDi
I've been at CADDi since April 2025. I'm currently working on improving developer experience at the company by creating tools to measure and track various methods of code health, as well as implement company wide frameworks for making testing and data management easy for engineers.
What CADDi's Engineers are trying to innovate
As part of the platform team, I generally engage with engineers from multiple different departments. One of the main challenges I'm dealing with is planning and creating systems and processes to help an increasing number of engineers of various different backgrounds smoothly interact with each other while helping new engineers reach their full potential with as little ramp-up time as possible.
What are your hobbies and how do you spend your days off?
On my days off, I usually cook, read, or dance West Coast Swing!
